A visitor doesn’t know where to look first: at the many stained-glass panels, the fish tanks fashioned into furniture, the Art Nouveau light fixtures, the wall murals with motifs from Maurice Sendak and Henri Rousseau. There are handmade firefly tiles winking with colored Christmas lights. If God is in the details, this place is the First Church of Quirk, done up in a style that merges Morticia Addams and Martha Stewart.
For the mustache aficionados… there is an event called the Tweed Run that happens in London each May, where people dress up in period costumes in tweed and ride all manner of bicycles around London.
